Well it’s been a busy season. I have been soaked by rain on average 2x per week. On top of that my life has been filled with family and friends when they surface and I can fit them in. It’s hard when I work so much.

Let’s see what has happened lately…

The Rents came out from BC. Well Mom was already here, so I drove her to pick up Dad. Mom can’t handle the 401. That was saturday… we also stopped in missisauga to visit Aunt Les. It was a good day. In the evening we came home to find that Uncle Gus was down, of all the possible reasons it was to buy a Harley. It’s the aniversary special, Orange. So what did we do… what all good Zylstra’s do. Phone family and Eat. Aunt Helen and Uncle Harry came over and we ordered Pizza. That was saturday.

I made it out to Lakeshore Pentecostal Camp in Cobourg a couple of times this last week. Which was good. I was able to see Fred Fulford, and a few friends from school.

Other than that, there is nothing too out of the ordinary. I’m looking forward to the next couple of weeks. I am going up the Cottage the second weekend in Aug, and I am Plant/House sitting starting thursday night. The best part is the usage of the hot tubbage. Oh yeah… i got my Student Loan! $10,880

That’s all for now.

No News is Good News?

No News is Good News?

So not much is new on this end… My life is still uneventful. Waiting on Student Loan Apps, Summer to end, School to start. The usual.

So it’s been a while since I blogged… more than a week. Thus the “Almost Weekly”.

I’ve been busy busy busy. Mom and Dad came back down from the Cottage on Fri. I Got back the Sunday night before. The weekend was full of trips to the airport, birthday parties, and family dinners. It was good but busy.

Work is stretching me. I have been filling in as a foreman so we can get caught up in some of our other areas. Today, I was downtown in toronto. Driving in Traffic with a truck and trailer. HAHA, Get Ready Vancouver! I’m Even WORSE! I had a bit of a blunder too. I was driving an older truck and I forgot to fill up on gas. I had noticed that I was getting Low and I was going to look for a gas station, but it passed my mind. So I was at a Job site and The Truck stalled. Thinking that it was a mechanical issue I checked the oil and tranny fluids. Nope. It was the Gas. I had to borrow Gas from our Equipment to get to the Gas Station. I hurt my Ego a bit.

Anyways.. that’s the news.

Greetings from the Island…

Greetings from the Island…

So I’m up on the Island… Manitoulin that is. And once again I have resorted to poaching internet from a Public Computer Access.

Things are good up here, I came up thursday night and Arrived at 12:30. Mom quite rudely awakened me at 7:30 the next morning when they got here.
